The 4th annual Water Drop Dash 5K encourages metro Atlanta residents to check their plumbing fixtures and irrigation systems during the annual EPA WaterSense Fix a Leak Week held March 20-26, 2017.
Did you know that an American home can waste, on average, more than 10,000 gallons of water every year due to running toilets, dripping faucets and other household leaks? That's close to how much some households use in two months!
Find out more about fixing leaks around your house at EPA WaterSense.
We are the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District, and we work with local governments and water utilities to ensure that all of us have clean water to drink, both now and in the future. The Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District is partnering with the local water utilities to organize this great event.
Have a leaky toilet? Please visit the Metro Water District’s Toilet Rebate Program webpage or contact your local water utility for more information.
